Coaching Program #1
How To Read Faster And Remember More

Double your reading speed - and make the information stick. Achieve more each day… have more free time… the benefits of speed reading are obvious. Discover the Gloo approach to effective speed reading, combining the power of your memory to help you read faster and remember more of what you read.

In this productivity-boosting one on one Coaching Program you'll learn…

  • How well do you currently read and what's really possible?

  • How to get your brain and eyes working together to eliminate reading problems

  • 4 key techniques to increase your reading speed, focus and comprehension

  • How to quickly double your reading speed through effective practice

  • How to remember more of what you read using the BDA approach

  • How to combine speed reading with other techniques to learn new information quickly and easily

"My reading speed more than doubled after just one session. I always had a strong memory but Chris's techniques have improved it even further. Well worth it."
John Havas, Manager Risk and Compliance
Commonwealth Bank

"The biggest benefits for me have been that I can now remember when I need to and cover a lot more written material than previously - a significant boost to my productivity."
Lyndie Spurr, (Former) Executive General Manager
Royal District Nursing Service

"Very straightforward and informative. Enjoyed it immensely and achieved results quickly. Thank you very much."
Bernard Walker
Director, Clover Fields

Coaching Program #2
How To Remember 'Whatshisname'

Struggle to remember names? If so, you are not alone. In fact, forgetting people's names is the number one memory complaint. And rightly so - because everyone knows how embarrassing it can be when you forget someone's name.

But the good news is that with the right techniques and a little practice anyone can remember names. In this unique 1 on 1 Coaching Program you'll discover…

  • The real reason we forget names - and why this is good news

  • The 3 step approach to making names stick

  • How to build a powerful 'Visual Vocabulary' for names

  • How to use the 80:20 rule to get good at remembering names - quickly

  • How to meet lots of people at once - and remember their names

"Doing the Gloo course was one of the best decisions I made in my life. I used to think remembering names and information was easy for some people but not for me... that I was terrible at it and there was nothing I could do about it. Instead I learnt that my memory is not only fine but could be transformed totally into a useful tool.

I have just moved to another country and am adjusting to living here so much easier by being able to remember the hundreds of names of new people I am meeting and I haven't been lost once.

I used to struggle to remember which directions to take. Now I can look at a map before leaving home and drive with confidence. I can even go to the supermarket now without a shopping list and not forget a thing. I would recommend to everyone to do this."
Tracey McDonald, Nurse, USA

Coaching Program #3
How To Present Powerfully Using Your Memory

You've probably heard the statistic - many people fear presenting more than death! Don't die next time you have to give a talk, speech or presentation. Learn how to use your memory to master your material and present without notes, giving you the confidence to make much more powerful presentations.

In this fun and practical Personal Coaching Program you'll learn...

  • Why most people fear giving talks or speeches and can't present without notes

  • How to activate your brain's natural ability to absorb and recall information

  • How to use your memory to deliver presentations - without referring to notes even once

  • How to use mapping techniques to slash the time needed to prepare presentations

  • Tips and tricks for designing and delivering presentations your audience will remember

"The Gloo Personal Coaching Program has changed my life! One of the biggest stressors for me has been learning long scripts - usually a week to learn - however with memory techniques I now can learn a long new script in one day! I have more than doubled my reading speed and continue to improve. I highly recommend Gloo to anyone wanting to improve memory, productivity and lower stress and worry. 11/10. Thanks!"
Mark Mayer, Magician

"Very flexible, relaxed, dynamic and tailored to suit individual weaknesses and needs. Very enjoyable."
Nadi Sha, Entrepreneur

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you register for your Gloo Personal Coaching Program(s), here are the answers to some commonly-asked questions.

1. Who will coach me?

All sessions are delivered by Chris Lyons who correctly memorised 118 names and faces in just 15 minutes at the Australian Memory Championships and recited Pi to 4,400 places without error. To see what this looks like click here.

Chris has appeared on The Today Show, A Current Affair, Today Tonight and has demonstrated how effective memory techniques can be on radio stations all around Australia including 2UE, 2GB, 3AW and the ABC.

2. How are the Coaching Programs structured?

For your convenience, you can choose between two delivery options:

  • OPTION A: Coaching Program delivered in x1 four hour session. Ideal if you want to cover all the material in the shortest possible time and in just one session.

  • OPTION B: Coaching Program delivered in x2 two hour sessions, one week apart. Perfect if you prefer to take a little more time as you learn and are able to find the time for two separate coaching sessions.

Both options cover the same material and achieve the same results, so you can choose the one which suits you best.

3. When can the Programs be delivered?

In-House Coaching Programs are delivered on weekdays and also on Saturdays.

4. Where do the Coaching Programs take place?

We are a Sydney-based company and the Coaching Programs are delivered in the convenience of your offices or chosen venue within the Metropolitan Sydney area. For delivery outside Sydney please Contact Us for more details.

5. Do I need to provide any special equipment?

No, just a suitable room equipped with a whiteboard or flipchart, data projector and screen.

6. How much do the Coaching Programs cost?

Each Program delivered at your offices or chosen venue in the Metropolitan Sydney area costs $895 including GST if delivered as x1 four hour session or $1095 including GST if delivered as x2 two hour sessions on different days. Customised Coaching Programs may cost slightly more to cover additional design and preparation time.

7. I think some of my colleagues would also benefit from a Gloo Coaching Program. Is it possible to take a Program with someone else?

Yes, you can undertake any of the above Gloo In-House Coaching Programs with up to 2 additional people at the same time. The cost for each additional person is $200 including GST. This significantly reduces the average cost per person - important if you have a limited training budget.

8. I'd like to do more than one Program - any further discounts?

Yes we do offer Multiple Program discounts. Book 2 Programs at the same time and receive a further $100 discount on the total cost, or a $200 discount on the total cost if you book all 3 Programs at the same time.

9. I'd prefer to come to you. Is this possible?
